All the University of Minnesota has to offer is just steps outside our front door. The Law School, Carlson School of Management, Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and Department of Theater Arts & Dance are our closest neighbors. If you venture down the road you will also find the world-class Amplatz Children’s Hospital and University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. Best yet, if the weather is inclement or you don’t want to walk, the Holiday Inn Minneapolis Metrodome offers complimentary shuttle transportation to and from the University.
Across the river, the campus continues and beckons with a variety of activities. The Gopher Sports program showcases 23 men's and women's sports. Enjoy a basketball game at Williams Arena or see a hockey game at Mariucci Arena. You can also cheer on the Golden Gopher Football team at TCF Bank Stadium or attend a special event at the McNamara Alumni Center. Other attractions on the East Bank of campus include the famed Weisman Art Museum, Bell Museum of History, and Coffman Memorial Union.
If you're need a break from the hustle and bustle or are just feeling adventurous, visit the University’s nearby St. Paul campus. As home to the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences and other related disciplines, this area has extensive lawns, flowers, trees and green spaces. Popular destinations on this campus include the Goldstein Museum of Design, Raptor Center, and Dairy Food Products Salesroom, where you can buy ice cream, cheese and other treats made by University students, faculty and staff. The University operates a free bus service to all campuses on their Campus Connectors to make travel convenient and easy.
